The culture developed in a household over several decades and generations, the cause an effect of unspoken grudges and differences, that come out at the worst of times. The intent of this project is to understand the feelings of guilt, unresolved resentment, dependency and of course, unconditional love that affects a household throughout several generations through an empathetic lens for both the maker and the viewer. This short film follows the inter-generational struggle of a family across three time periods through the lens of the protagonist- Ravi. The story begins with a death in the family and the deep internal struggle that follows resulting in warping of Ravi's demeanor and nature, thus shaping the future struggles of this particular family.
