"What I Leave Behind" is an animated short film that revolves around two characters- Baba, an eccentric old wizard and his apprentice, Athul. The two travel to various ruins to replicate the relics they find there into their individual pocket dimensions called, "The Void". Things take a turn though when Baba realises that everything within his Void is slowly disappearing due to a condition known as, "Decay" and he must get Athul to transfer his life's work into his own Void before it all disappears. Tensions rise as Athul is not able to meet Baba's extemely high expectations until it all explodes and Baba comes to realise that he cannot force Athul to improve quicker as the circumstances are beyond their control. This project aims to tackle the themes- Passing down of knowledge and practices, Legacy and Dementia.
